ACE V!S!ON

ACE V!S!ON is a non-binary Scottish-Malawian poet, musician, and actor whose lyrical prowess and powerful yet nuanced delivery leave a lasting impression. Moving fluidly between witty rap, poignant poetry, and subtle vocal expression, their work has been shaped through years of creating within the Glasgow arts scene. ACE’s multidisciplinary practice includes co-directing Hip-Hop Education through Theatre of the Oppressed Scotland, membership in the jazz-fusion collective MODERNISTIC, collaborating on DIY films with Scottish Queer International Film Festival as well as participating in the remarkable Moniqux Ensemble ‘Dictations, The Heart of the Sea” production at Tramway.

Their practice is driven by a strong commitment to liberation and exploration, using the arts as a tool to engage with social justice, community organisation, and education/facilitation.
