Creative Session

Approaches to Recording with Murray Collier

In this practical 2-part workshop with Murray Collier, you will explore different approaches to recording sounds, and experimenting with production using both analogue and digital processes in the studio. In the first session Murray will give us an overview of how to prepare for recording, how to capture sound using different microphones and how you don’t need a studio to get great results. In the second we will spend time processing and mixing the sounds we have made and talk through different ways to distribute your work.

No prior knowledge required, and all equipment is provided. If you have any questions please email music.space.projects@gmail.com

We can reimburse travel costs for to and from the venue on the day, please bring the receipt/ticket.
