Break on to the Airwaves with Radio Buena Vida

Get to grips with broadcasting and curating shows as the team behind Radio Buena Vida invite you to their home on Victoria Road, feel free to bring along a USB or records, and plenty of questions! You’ll gain insight into how this community station reaches listeners worldwide, learn technical processes, what makes a good show, practice interviewing and spinning tunes. No experience or equipment is necessary.

The venue is located on the ground floor and is wheelchair accessible.

We can reimburse travel costs for to and from the venue on the day, please bring the receipt/ticket.


Radio Buena Vida is an online community radio station based in Govanhill that platforms emerging and established talent across all independent genres of music and the arts from Glasgow, wider Scotland and beyond. Their mission is to provide a platform for under-represented voices and create a community where artists, DJs and hosts can learn, explore, create, collaborate, connect, experiment and flourish irrespective of race, sexuality, gender, disability, religion, experience level or socio-economic status. They currently broadcast fresh, live shows every Wednesday, Friday & Saturday, which you can watch as well as listen to via live stream at buenavida.co.uk, with a repeats playlist on during other times.
