Field Recording with Inge Thomson
In this practical 2-part workshop with Inge Thomson, you will explore approaches to field recording and editing. In the first session we will be on location recording pond life as it wakes up at the end of Winter, using hydrophones you will hear what’s under the surface of the water. In the second session Inge will show us ways to identify what we’ve recorded.
No prior knowledge required, and all equipment is provided. Please email us via music.space.projects@gmail.com with any questions.
We can reimburse travel costs for to and from the venue on the day, please bring the receipt/ticket.
Venue access (The Dream Machine)
Enter is through the London Road entrance. Buzz the doorbell and then there is another door directly in front of you which has The Dream Machine name on it. The Dream Machine consists of three rooms joined together. The Dream Lab is the room at the back of these three rooms. A duty manager will be there to greet you and show you where you are going.
It is on the ground floor. There is a small step into the building but if needed for wheelchair access we can put a ramp in place. There is also a wheelchair accessible entrance round the side and back of the building. We have accessible toilets (these are signs posted).
THIS SESSION IS NOW FULLY BOOKED
