Rhythm & Poetry with ACE V!S!ON

Using rap and poetic writing, movement, and relational practices to explore identity, resistance, and power. Through connecting with ourselves and our bodies, participants will explore how we can find, strengthen, and utilise our voices to navigate power dynamics, challenge our circumstances, and conjure change.

This workshop is for 16–25* year olds. To reserve a spot please fill out the sign up form.

Please note there is a limited capacity, and places will be reserved on a first come, first serve basis.

We reimburse all participants travel costs, we can discuss this with you once your place is confirmed.

*Our activity is for people up to the age of 30 if they are:
– Disabled, including those with a long-term illness, neurodiverse people and anyone else who would identify with the social model of disability.
– Care experienced, and/or have been a young carer (including those with children or those who have cared for/are caring for someone with a long-term illness or disability).

We will start and end the walk at Soundplay Projects.

Soundplay Projects is located on the 9th floor of One Cadogan Square, at 51 Cadogan Street, Glasgow G2 7HF. Follow this link for a short video showing how to access the space.

The building has lift access, and disabled parking is available at the front of the building. The space is fully accessible.
